Obituary of Eleanor P. Mazzeo
Eleanor P. Mazzeo (nee: Pitale), 81, of Hammonton, NJ was reunited with her husband, John J. Mazzeo, in heaven on Thursday, May 16, 2019.
“Ellie” was the East Coast Payroll Manager for Harrah’s Casino, Atlantic City, and retired after 23 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed traveling cross-country with her late husband and made many friends along the way. One favorite destination was Jackson Hole, Wyoming. She mostly enjoyed quality time with her loving family and will be remembered for weekend shopping excursions with her daughter Lynn. In her early years she loved making homemade pasta & gravy and entertaining.
Beloved wife of the late John J. Mazzeo; loving mother of Leanor “Lynn” A. Mazzeo-Amoriello (Mark) and John F. Mazzeo (Jean); grandmother of John W. Mazzeo and Frank R. Mazzeo. Also survived by her sister Edna, cousin Anna and her dear companion Rebecca.
Viewing will be held at Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004 on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 10 am to 12 pm. Funeral Service will begin at 12 pm. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton.
