Obituary of Joseph D. Elliott, Sr.

Joseph D. Elliott, Sr., 88, of Cherry Hill, NJ passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at home.

Joseph leaves behind his first love, Gloria Needham, his daughter Suzanne Elliott and his sister Jean Slotter.  He was the uncle of Jeannie, Bill and Vicki and is recently pre-deceased by his late son Joseph D. Elliott, Jr. 

Joe had an adventure filled life and traveled around the world as a marine superintendent on offshore drilling rigs.  He was an entrepreneur and owned his own livery company in Atlantic City and also worked for several years as a bartender at the Tuckahoe Inn.  He loved sports especially the Eagles and Phillies, and truly enjoyed golfing with his friends from Atlantic City.

Cremation is private and a memorial service will be announced at a later date
