Obituary of Daniel F. Skowron

Daniel F. Skowron, Sr. of Sicklerville, NJ (formerly of Phila) passed away on March 11, 2012 at the age of 85yrs. Daniel is the late husband of Sophie Skowron (nee Olson). Devoted father of Diane Gatto, Christine Skowron, Daniel Skowron, Jr., John Skowron, Stephen Skowron, Mary Elizabeth Bailey and Cathleen Philpott. Brother of Anthony Skowron and Mary Lewinsky. Daniel is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dan was an avid fisherman who loved the ponds and streams and the comfort they gave him. He was also a bird enthusiast. Dan collected everything! He was probably the original "American Picker". He loved a bargain and enjoyed the haggling. Relatives and friends are invited to Daniel's Thursday, March 15, 2012 7:00 to 9:00pm and again Friday morning 9:00am to 11:00am at the Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home 441 White Horse Pike Atco, NJ (856)767-0539. A Funeral Ceremony will begin at 11:00pm. Interment and graveside tribute will follow at the Locustwood Memorial Park, Rt. 70, Cherry Hill, NJ.
