Obituary of Edward Pew

Edward Pew, age 87 of Atco, NJ (formerly of Cape May) passed away on March 20, 2012 at his home. Ed is survived by his sons, Keith Pew and his wife Carol of Cape May, NJ, Gary Pew of Milford, PA and Edward K. Pew (Jill) of Mays Landing, NJ. Life partner Patricia M. Powell of Atco, NJ. Affectionately known as "Pop" to his grandchildren, Brandon Pew, Tracy Pew, Kori Stafford, Gary Pew, Zachary Pew and Jaymie Pew. "Great Pop" to Breanna, Mykila, Ryan, Rylee, Robert and Addison. He is predeceased by his parents, Norris and Edna Pew, his brothers, Sam and Carl, a sister, Bessie and his daughter, Bobbie Anne. Ed was born in Salem, NJ on October 30, 1924 and graduated Salem High School, Class of 1942. He worked for the Atlantic City Electric Co. for 42 years. He enjoyed his monthly retiree luncheons with his follow co-workers. Ed enjoyed camping with his boys, traveling, growing "Jersey" tomatoes, hanging with the "maintenance crew" on Carolyn Lane, taking trips to the casino, playing horse shoes and darts. The family will receive friends from 9:00am to 11:00am on Friday, March 23rd. at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 856-767-0539.
