Obituary of Robert C. Menear

If you took the strength of a mountain, the warmth of the summer sun and the calm of a quiet sea, the generous soul of nature, the joy of a morning in spring and the patience of eternity you would call it Dad. Robert C. Menear was a dependable and loyal husband and father who loved "his girls." Love's flame may flicker, but it never dies and in 2007, after Deborah's passing Robert was left to walk the road alone. She went her way and he stayed behind, we knew it was just a matter of time. Suddenly on March 23, 2012 Robert C. Menear passed away and love was reunited. Our spirits will shine long after we've gone and so, our love lives on. Mr. Menear was born in Camden City and had spent all his married years raising his family in Braddock before moving to Pine Hill a few years ago. Robert was a straight shooter and pulled no punches. He had a good sense of humor and cared deeply about his wife, daughter, family and friends. Mr. Menear spent a lot of time on the road. He loved to travel and worked as a truck driver for many years. Most of all he loved to spend time at home with his music jammin' playing his computer and internet games. Robert is the husband of the late Deborah (nee Panebianco) and the father of his baby girl Nicole & her husband Nick Palumbi of Berlin. He is also survived by his many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends as well as his faithful companions Bosco and Punkin. We will always remember that special smile, that caring heart, that warm embrace you always gave us. You being there for mom and us through good times and bad no matter what. We will always remember you. Relatives and friends are invited to join the Menear family to remember, celebrate and pay tribute to Robert on Wednesday morning between 10 am and 12 pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home 441 White Horse Pike, Atco where a memorial ceremony will be celebrated at 12 pm.
