I first met John at Madigan General Hospital in Fort Lewis, Washington State. While there he was a pharmacy technician. He also became my best friend. John was an extremely bright young man. We both were from NJ and that was a special connection. I was upset when he had orders for Vietnam and joyous when he returned a year later. I remember his deep suntan and kidded him that he was really in Hawaii. He was discharged a while later and I did not see him again until later years when I worked in Atlantic Drug and he walked in and wanted a bus ticket to Atlantic City. I immediately recognized him and he said that if I came down to the Claridge Casino he would give me a comp. I went down and met him and introduced him to my wife. That was the last time I ever saw him. After trying to reach out to speak to him I talked to his wife and learned of his passing. I became very upset. My sincere condolences to his family. He was a hardworking decent man. I will never forget John.

There are so many happy memories of John that so many will stay with me forever. We had the pleasure of being friends and neighbors for over 20 years. The holidays, kids birthdays, parties. He was the life of the party but more than that he was one of the best husband and Fathers and friend to all.
We loved him.

Mr. Teti was an incredible teacher. He had a way of making students feel important and he saw us as people instead of work. He always told me I was one of his favorite students, and took the time to make me feel appreciated when I needed it most. He always had a smile on his face and made each class a pleasure. He will be remembered fondly and missed deeply by many.

John was a good friend and support at CCTS. His students loved his stories and he made every day a gift for all he came in contact with. The world is less bright. RIP John from Lynn Pfeifer History Teacher at CCTS

Mr. Teti is a big part of why I thoroughly enjoyed my high school years. Anyone can teach - they stand there and read the material to the student - but it takes a special kind of person to educate. Mr. Teti was more than a teacher; he was an educator. He instilled a genuine interest and desire to learn in everyone who had the fortune to be in his class. He made the sciences fun and relatable, and the future classes of CCTS will be woefully lacking in his absence. RIP Mr. Teti. You will be sincerely missed.

John was a very positive and lasting influence on me as a person. We endured CCHS as it transformed from the city of Camden to the current location on Rt 38 and Cuthbert Rd in Cherry Hill. We laughed and had great time as friends shared many of the same teachers which is why I also became a Science teacher. I'm certain he will be remember for his support to his students and family. He was a great friend RIP John. CCHS 1964 will always be a part of my life as you are and will be remembered.
