Obituary of John C. Young, Jr.
John C. Young Jr., 82 years old of Medford, NJ, formerly of Cape Coral, FL, passed away Monday, September 16, 2019. Survived by his beloved wife, Judith A. Young (Nee Greenig), two sons, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and one sister. Son, Thomas J. Young of Medford, NJ, wife Jayne, grandchildren: Jessica, Chelsea, Ashley, and Thomas. Son, Phillip S. Young of Sewell, NJ, wife Connie, grandchildren: River and Kaitlyn, and great grandchildren: Zoey, Maddox, and Skylar. Sister, Alice Joan Hoffman, and sister, Loretta Ulmer, deceased.
Born December 1936 in Philadelphia, PA , and grew up in Audubon Park, NJ. Married Judy in August 1957. Just celebrated their 62nd anniversary. Lived in Pine Hill, NJ for 35 years. Retired to Cape Coral, FL in 1998 for 20 years. Moved home to New Jersey to be closer to family last year.
Was a welder for 42 years and never missed a day of work. Retired as a Boilermaker Local 28. Loved Notre Dame and the Patriots/Tom Brady. Always looked forward to a cold beer. Most of all he loved the outdoors, sunshine, and his boat, the “Pugamahone”. Enjoyed taking his family and friends out for a good time either fishing or site seeing.
