Obituary of Michael Adam Gibbons, Sr.

Michael A. Gibbons Sr., age 57, of Clayton, NJ, passed away suddenly on Thursday October 10, 2019.  Loving son of Robert and Renate Gibbons.  Beloved father of Michael A. Gibbons Jr., Brad Gibbons (Brittany Gauntt), and Ashyer Gibbons.  Proud grandfather of Bryson Gibbons.  Dear companion of Maggie Laughlin.  He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his siblings Charlie Self (Lori), Edward Self (Karen), Robert T. Gibbons (Kelly), Heidi DiFillippo (Marc), and Heike Miller (Jay), as well as many nieces and nephews.

Michael was born in Camden, NJ, grew up in Atco, NJ and had resided in Clayton for the past 10 years.  He was the manager of the part department and body shop for Laidlaw Bus Company for many years.  Michael was a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan, and he enjoyed racing cars at Hightstown and Bridgeport racetracks.  His family was most important to him.  He was a caring dad, loving grandfather, brother, and son.  Michael often dropped whatever he was doing to help his family.  He also had a sarcastic sense of humor and he had a joke ready for any occasion. 

Cremation and services will be held privately.
