Obituary of Josephine Hollingshead

Josephine Hollingshead (nee Bombara), 97, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 18th, 2019. Josephine was a lifelong resident of Waterford Works, NJ. She enjoyed gardening, canning, and cooking for her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. In her later years she loved reading, getting her first library card at 85. She was a lifetime member of St. Anthony’s Church in Waterford, NJ. She is survived by her daughter Donna McCarroll and her husband Michael McCarroll, and grandsons Steven and Matthew. She is also survived by her brothers, Salvatore and John Bombara, Salvatore’s wife Joyce, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, December 28th from 9:00am-10:45am at Christ the Redeemer Parish ~ St. Anthony's Church, 436 Pennington Ave, Waterford, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, NJ.
