Obituary of James K. Brown

James Karl Brown, 68, of Port Charlotte, FL, passed away, April 16 of natural causes. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, Feb. 23, 1944. He is survived by his children Todd Brown and Tracey Brown; his grandchildren Amanda Brown, Jacob Brown, Jonathan Brown, Briana Brown and Alicia Regler; and his siblings Diane (Humphries) and Paul. He was preceded in death by his parents James Edward Brown and Lorraine Brown, and his daughter Michelle Brown. James had a determined spirit, living life on his terms. He proudly served in the United Stated Navy during the Vietnam War. He feared nothing, while instilling fear in those that threatened him, his family or his friends. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the medical staff at Fawcett Memorial Hospital for their compassion and care. A visitation will be held April 19, Thursday evening after 7:00PM and again Friday morning 9:00 to 10:15am at the LeRoy P Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Assumption Church/Christ the Redeemer Parish, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco, NJ at 11:00AM. Interment will be private.
