Obituary of Hazel Margaret Burrows

Hazel Margaret Waananen Burrows, aged 90, passed away peacefully on January 25th, 2020 with her family by her side. She was born January 8th, 1930 in Republic, Michigan. Hazel was married to William Burrows on November 11th, 1950, who passed over on May 3rd, 1988, after 38 years of marriage. She is survived by two of her four daughters, Margaret (Peggy) Saville, and Sondra Johnson. Her other daughters, Ferne and Betty, have passed over several years ago. Hazel also had 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly and touched deeply. Hazel was born before her time, and was a free thinker. She was a voracious reader with an undying hunger for knowledge in all subjects. She was a licensed minister, a Practical Nurse, a Dental Hygienist, Physical Therapy Tech and a reflexologist who dedicated her life to healing the body and soul. Her goal in life was to have a loving family and to inspire and empower those she touched to find peace, health, and happiness. She will be forever loved, and missed by many. Relatives and friends are invited to join us to Celebrate her Life on Saturday, February 15th, 2020.
