Obituary of Frank A. DeLucca, Sr.

Frank A. DeLucca, Sr., age 93, of Lindenwold, NJ, passed away on Friday January 31, 2020 at Vitas Inpatient Hospice, Stratford, NJ. Beloved husband of the late Anna Jeanne DeLucca (nee Powell). Loving father of Frank A. DeLucca, Jr. (Norma Jean) of Lindenwold, Robert E. DeLucca of Lindenwold, and Jeanine A. DeLucca of Sicklerville. Dear brother of Anthony DeLucca (Connie), and the late Joseph, Lucey, Mamie, Maria (Sue), Vincent, Jerry, William, Lenora, Johnny, and Rita. Proud grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 8. Frank was born in Hammonton, NJ and resided most of his life in Lindenwold, NJ. He was a longtime employee of South Jersey Gas, retiring in 1988. He was a lifelong member of Lindenwold Fire Co. #3, member of the Camden County Fire Police, former part-time officer with Lindenwold Police Dept., and an active 4-H leader in Camden County. Frank enjoyed playing and listening to Big Band Music. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday February 9, 2020 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A memorial service will begin at 1:30 pm. Cremation will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vitas Hospice Inpatient Unit, 18 E.
