We have fond memories of visiting as little girls with our parents, Betty and Joe Fortunato, at his BIG house in NJ with really high ceilings and a Christmas tree that seemed like a redwood! I hope everyone is well and you have wonderful memories from a fun and funny man.

My condolences to all family. Fred, I still get up early(firewood cutting , early mornings) it taught me to get up and get your work done.It wasn’t all work, my first pair of skis and that trip to the Poconos, flying in that small plane with Freddy at Albion airport, all things I would have never experienced if it wasn’t for you. I won’t forget what you taught me.

Dear Fred,
We are all going to miss you here at Bill and Lin's. You were a good friend to us...I'm so glad that Andrea and I got to come and see you before Christmas...you fought a good fight. I know dialysis and COPD was taking its toll on you. Now it's time for you to rest. I know you have been reunited with family and friends. When you see Bill, give him a hug from us and tell him we miss him...Bill always loved hearing the stories from when you grew up in Sicklerville and knowing his family..
Rest in peace, Fred....No more pain...thanks for always calling and talking to Andrea to check up on all of us. She always said she would laugh because you called her "Missy"...Love, Linda & Family

I remember "Pops" fondly at many hockey games watching Daisy. One game day, I didn't have a ride and he offered to drive my daughter Missy and I up to North Jersey in his pick up. He took a "scenic route" Rt 206, 202 and 33 I think, and more back Roads. It was a beautiful ride and I enjoyed so much talking with him. We even went to dinner after the game. I thought that was really nice. He was a great guy. Love to you all. The meat balls sound wonderful.
