Obituary of Frances E. Kaptan

Frances E. Kaptan (nee Penza), age 74 of Magnolia, passed away at her home on Wednesday May 2, 2012. Ms. Kaptan was born in Philadelphia and had been living in Magnolia with her daughter since 2007. Frances had worked for 43 years as a waitress and spent most of her career at the Diamond Diner in Cherry Hill but spent her last few working years at the Stratford Diner. Ms. Kaptan is the mother of Charles & his wife Kathie Kiefreider, Deborah Ann Jordan, Denise M. Risley, Tanya L. & her husband Robert Kennedy and the late Robert C. Kiefreider. Frances is the proud grandmother of David & Sean Young, Amanda & Alicia Clair, Kellyanne Fegley, the late Kimberly Kiefreider and many great grandchildren. She is the sister of Paul William Sanford, Carole Sassi, Virginia Gaughan, Pat DiLauro, the late Barbara Whittick and the late Kenneth Sanford. Frances is also survived and will be sadly missed by her best friend Ruth Powers. Relatives and friends are invited to join the her family in a visitation on Monday evening between 6 pm and 7 pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home 441 White Horse Pike, Atco where her family will share in a time of remembrance at 7 pm. Inurnment will be held privately.
