Oh Aunt Janice... where would I ever begin to share ALL of the memories?? From the side porch to the kitchen table.... the unconditional love and advice you showered on me will never be forgotten. I was the niece you had no choice but to love... at your door with every problem and at your door with every exciting news my teenage life had to give. Your chuckle at my craziness and your concern at my pain will forever be in my heart. You were one of a kind!! You even took in Gingie..the dog I brought to your door..that you did not want..yet kept and loved for years! I love you and I know you and mom are chatting up a storm right now!! Forever in my heart,
Linda

Oh, Mrs. B. you are missed.
So many of the girls (and we all know who we are), filed through your door to sit at your kitchen table seeking comfort and council as only you could give. The nod of your head, your smile, sparkling eyes, calm and reasuring voice will forever be remembered. Where might I have wound up if not for you? Often as my daughter's friends shared their teenage dilemas with me, my mind would drift back to those times. Oh, beautiful Mrs. B. you are truly missed!

I am sorry to hearing of Mrs. B's passing and my condolences to her family and friends. I was a tenant at the Braddock home from '82 to '86. Mrs. B was a cheerful and beautiful person - she was always looking out for me - it was like being home with my own mom. Thank you for the memories Mrs. B. Rest in peace. Terry (O'Brien) Scavuzzo

Mr. B., Wayne & Cindy all the way to the "great" little guys and everyone she touched,
I am truly sorry for your loss. Janice was a wonderful human being. She will be sadly missed. I had the priveledge to spend time doing her hair in Gibby. She would call me after every obsticale she encountered. Obsticale it was getting in her way, she pressed on & on. We had many chats in the salon and her kind and loving spirit always shined above anything and her love of her family. She was proud of her children and she loved her husband and family and never wanted to put anyone out. She knew her body and over the years she wanted to get rid of the (bs) and move forward. She did. I hope the lovely memories of her life will comfort you forever. Knowing she is in heaven and physically has no more pain and discomfort. I have not been in the salon for the past year,I am permately on disability and have thought about her for that time and hoping she was ok. She was such a delight . I will pray for you all to let those good thoughts and memories override your sadness. God Bless you all and know she has no more dicomfort and is resting peacefully. Mary

Hi Nan, I am very lucky to have crossed your path. I still remember the talks that we had & how you told me how you used rush home from making delivery as a driver to go out dancing. And,of course, the Ham & Cabbage recipe you shared with me, which I still have & make. You will be missed but I'm sure you will be a great & a welcome addition to the group up there ;). By the way, please say hello to my mom & dad & grandpop if you happen to ran into them. You may bump into my mom in the big kitchen in the sky. She's probably cooking, as you would. Also, say hello to Sal. I heard he's been golfing & playing tennis or chasing little cute Italian women. Not sure though if they're allowed to do that up there. Anyway, may you rest in peace & till we meet again. Love you, Nan!

Thank you, Aunt Janice, for all of the wonderful memories you have given each of us. Your willing spirit and loving kindness has inspired so many of us over the years.
You were the first “adult I knew who loved me unconditionally. You never judged, but instead listened and offered wisdom—which was always wrapped in pure love.
You fed everyone with unselfish humility whether they were hungry for food, or attention, or a laugh, or just some heartfelt conversation. You were someone who was always there for us … and we all gathered to soak up the compassion you offered. Your joy was found in helping others find their way, whether we were walking back into your life or walking away for a time, we were always welcome. You once told me as we were sitting at the picnic table, "Eventually, if you sit here long enough, everyone winds up on the porch." And you were right.
I will cherish those memories forever. I will cherish YOU for always. You were everyone's "mom" and "friend and you always gave even when you were in need, yourself.
Thank you. Thank you for being a humble servant to all of us.
You loved and you are loved right back. We will all miss you dearly.

I lived across the street from the Braddocks and my mother still lives there. I remember the kind lady who always invited you to come over. I hope the family finds peace in knowing the love she gave them and they gave her. Keep her alive in your heart.
