Obituary of Rosana Boutwell

Rosana Boutwell (nee Caywood), age 92 of Cherry Hill, died after a brief illness on Wednesday May 2, 2012 at Cooper Hospital in Camden. Rosana was born in Belleplain, NJ, the daughter of the late Willett and Bessie Caywood. She had lived in Mays Landing, Weymouth, Egg Harbor and moved to Ashland, in 1949 with her husband. Rosana attended Weymouth School, and graduated from Atlantic City High in 1938.During WWII, she worked at the National Fireworks Co. making firestarters for the war effort. After working in retail sales most of her life, in 1972, she and Ray opened, owned and operated Boutwell's Pastry Shop for 18 years. Rosana loved talking on the phone, rides in the pines, fudge, and most of all, her family. Mrs. Boutwell is the Beloved wife of 66 years to Ray Boutwell, loving mother of Rosana(Skip) Mawson, treasured grandmom of Abigail and Sadie Mawson, loving sister of Almeda Dawson (nee Caywood) AZ. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Rosana's Memorial Service on Sunday, May 20th at 4:30pm at the Weymouth United Methodist Church 6971 Deep Run Rd. Weymouth, NJ 08330 Inurnment will follow at the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the church at the above address earmarked "Building Fund."
