My beloved sister in Christ, you are and always will be loved. You were my neighbor and friend, had so many laughs together. Nicole and I will one day see you His glorious Kingdom...until then say hi to Nancy for me!

Dear Rae Marie and family,
Thank you for writing Aunt Cheryl's obituary, your step-mother. A few things to add, my Grandmother Margaret Cook, Aunt Cheryl's Mother, still survives her and lives in Midland, MI, her sister Carlene Spitnale and brother-in-law David Spitnale live in Midland, MI not Ann Arbor, MI. Aunt Cheryl also has a niece, Terri L. Carey and her husband Alan along with her two children of Midland, MI, and a nephew, Scott D. Spitnale and his wife Birgit along with their four children of Keedysville, MD. Plus don't forget your brother Matt's children. Aunt Cheryl touched many lives throughout the years, she had many close friends and wonderful neighbors. Many of us will be saying prayers on Sunday and wishing we could have had an opportunity to properly say goodbye and visit with friends and family. While we all find ways to process and grieve, we will always have our memories. Thank you to all who helped Aunt Cheryl during her battle with an aweful disease. God Bless.
Terri and Alan Carey

Cheryl was more than a neighbor - she was truly a "sister-friend". In addition, she was a wonderful daughter to her mother (still living), step-mother and grandmother (a title she dearly cherished). She was "Aunt" Cheryl to so many it would be hard to count in addition to her own nieces and nephews. Her legacy however, will be the multitude of friends that came forward to be with her, nurse her and love her until the very end. She was a very special person who will be missed.

I had the fantastic opportunity to teach Sunday School and attend church with Cheryl. If there is one thing that I can say about Cheryl, it is that whenever she spoke with you, you felt total love.
She will be missed by many.
