Obituary of Julie Ann Norlin

Seeing death as the end of life and love is like seeing the horizon as the end of the ocean. What we call death, God calls a new beginning and she who believes in me, though she die, yet shall live, and whosoever lives and believes in me shall never die." Heaven lit a way for Julie Ann Norlin (nee Miller) while surrounded by the love of her family in the morning of Monday August 6, 2012. Julie was born in Council Bluffs, IA and spent her early years there. She had contributed to the manpower of our nation, in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam, upholding the American ideals of freedom. Julie made a career in the medical field after her discharge working in various roles before retiring in 2003. She was a strong person. She was the matriarch of the family and will be fondly remembered as a loving and generous wife, mother and grandmother. Julie & her husband enjoyed traveling around the country after retiring. She spent winters in Texas where she volunteered at Aurora Hospice and summers in New Jersey with her children. Julie leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 42 years, Donald Norlin. She is the mother of Eric & his wife Carrie and Wende & her husband Bill Nachman, Jr. She is the proud grandmother of Todd Pritchard, Arabelle Nachman and Shelby Norlin. Julie is also survived and will be sadly missed by her sisters Vonnie Vice, Trixie Fisher and Jamie McCoy as well as other family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to join the Norlin family to remember a wife, mother and grandmother's generous love, celebrate life through faith and pay tribute to Julie on Friday evening between 6 pm and 7 pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco where a memorial ceremony and military honors will begin at 7 pm. Pastor Wesley Hawk, officiating.
