Obituary
Obituary of Wayne A Perry
.If you see me losing ground, don't be afraid to lie. I know the pain inside my heart can't break the fear inside of yours. And, if you see me losing faith in what it means to die, don't let me leave before I know what lies beyond the stained-glass doors. Wayne A Perry, Sr. had a trying time the past few years. He was a man of faith who will look back on these good times and trying times and smile, because, it was life and he lived it to the fullest. You only live life once - but if you do it right, once is enough. On the morning of Monday October 15, 2012 Wayne A. Perry's tide slipped away from the sand at the age of 52. Our memories of the beach will linger on long after our footprints in the sand are gone.
Mr. Perry was born in Cherry Hill and had been a resident of Chesilhurst for the past few years. Wayne was a guy you couldn't tell no to. He was driven, accomplished, smart and strong. Wayne owned & operated his Total Comfort Heating & Air in Lindenwold and recently worked as a boat builder for Wheels & Keels in Atco. Wayne practically grew up on the beaches of LBI and spent summers at the cove in Brigantine with his family. He had many stories about him and his buddies over those years. Wayne was a craftsman; he was good with his hands. He loved boating, fishing, cars, and motorcycles. On the outside Wayne was a tough guy but on the inside he had a heart bigger than himself. He had a nickname for all of his kids and loved his feline friends. Wayne will fondly be remembered as a helpful and ambitious son, father, brother and friend who was always looking for that adrenaline rush.
Wayne is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 29 years Laraine (nee Astore) Perry . He is the father of Gabrielle "Posh", Wayne A. "Chunker" Jr. and Gina "Whoppis" Perry. He is the son of Diane & her husband Lawrence Penney. Wayne is also survived and will be sadly missed by his sister Deborah & her husband Rob Beers, his brother Joseph & his wife Deborah Perry as well as his many nieces, nephews and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the Perry family on Saturday morning between 10 am and 12 pm where Wayne had celebrated his sacraments and his public expression of love 29 years ago, Our Lady of Peace Parish, St. Mary's Church, 32 Carroll Ave. Williamstown, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 pm.
