Pop, you were my second Dad and a most wonderful man. I especially loved that sly grin you'd get when you were about to be ornery or say something funny. We shared 15 years of our lives together and I hope you enjoyed them as much as I did! You taught me so much. You have so many who love you...I hope that love eased your journey to the next life. I am glad you have peace now but I will miss you terribly. You and your son, my beloved Carl, will always have an extra special place in my heart. Give him a big hug for me would ya? I love you....

Pop, over the years it was always such a great pleasure & an added bonus to see YOU when I would come to visit Cathy and Carl (and Justin if I was really lucky!). It made me feel so special to find out that some days you would hang around and wait for me to arrive before heading off to the Diner to meet your buddies for a meal. You always made me feel so welcomed and accepted. I loved our conversations and loved how we all laughed together. On my way home I would begin to plan in my head for my next visit. I loved discussing gambling in Atlantic City with you and I loved seeing your face light up when I would bring you something sweet to eat (like everyone's favorite, Mississippi Mud Pie)! Pop, you were a sweet and gentle man with a heart of gold. Your laugh and smile is something I will always remember. And your hugs and kisses were the BEST ever! I love you and I'll miss you. XO

My deepest condolences to all who knew him. I will fondly remember finding his hiding spot for his candy and Pops being happy to share all he had. From the day I met him he was a friend.

Pop. You are such an amazing person. You always knew how to make everyone laugh... Just by saying the simplest things. Ill always remember how u answered "how r u feeling pop?" .. "Lousy.." Your memory will always ring strong in my heart. We will all miss you dearly. And we will hold tight to the laughing and quiet moments when we would watch tv and just be. You are a wonderful man.
