I'm afraid I don't know what other ctionrues are doing that's Benoit's territory I think. I agree that targeting infrastructure is easier and more immediate but its impact is likely to be far more wide ranging, so its something of a blunt instrument. There's also an important difference between disconnecting an edge connection, like a power station, and disconnecting key internet infrastructure like a peering point something I haven't seen discussed by legislators. I'd like to think that the network manager at Sellafield is smart enough to switch their router off if they come under a DDoS without needing legislation now you've got me worried!
