Obituary of Charles H. Wakeley

Charles H. Wakeley, Sr. age 66, of Waterford Works, NJ passed away suddenly on February 15, 2013. Charles, who was born in Phila, PA was an avid sports fan. He supported the Philadelphia Teams even if they had a losing season. He enjoyed his outdoor activities such as playing golf but what he most enjoyed was the “Hunt” He was an active member of the Antler Gun Club for close to 45 years. He is predeceased in death by his parents, Robert & Lilly Wakeley, his first wife, Nancy (nee Olenschlager), and his brothers, Robert and James Wakeley. He is survived by his wife, Cindy (nee Devenney), six children, Coleen Robey (Tom), Jennifer Karge (Ernie), Charles Wakeley, Jr. (Amanda), Matthew Wakeley (Shari), Tabatha Guaglianone (Thomas) and Stephanie Campos (Joseph). 15 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Edward Wakeley (Eileen), Hank Wakeley and his sister, Elizabeth Wakeley (Ken) and 2 sisters in law, Barbara and Joan and his mother and father in law, Elmer & Doris Devenny. A Visitation will be held on February 21, 2013 at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ from 11:00am to 2:00pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 2:00pm. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions to the family c/o the funeral home to help defer expenses would be greatly appreciated.
