Obituary of Betty Anna Everly

(Breeden) age 87, of Millville, NJ, died on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 after a brief illness. Betty was married to the late Charles A. Everly for 23 years and is the daughter of John & Anna (Turner) Breedon. She was born in Millville, NJ, resided in Port Elizabeth, NJ for many years, she was a life long resident of South Jersey. Betty worked several years in the clerical field for Millville City Hall under the city commissioners and tax office. She also worked, for many years as well, in the same capacity, with the Cumberland County Guidance Center for several psychiatrists. She lead a very active life and found much joy in traveling with her family across the country and Caribbean. Betty also enjoyed reading, crocheting, and mostly gardening. Being a long time member of the Millville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, she spent much time telling others about God's kingdom and his purposes for an earthly paradise. Betty is survived by her three children: Charles Everly & wife Helen (Garton) of Millville, NJ, Kathelene (Everly) Ryan & husband Harry of Bear, DE, their two sons, Bruce Ryan of Wilmington, DE and Neill Ryan of Newark, DE. Nancy (Everly) Bard & husband Charles of Newfield, NJ, and their two daughters, Robin Fresne of Vineland, NJ & Shannan Bard of Newfield, NJ. Also survived by her brothers, Rolland Breeden & wife Lois of Millville, NJ and Wilbur Breeden of Millville, NJ, and a sister Susan (Breeden) Harris of Mayslanding, NJ. Betty is predeceased by her brother Jack Breeden. She has five great-grandchildren, Ava Fresne of Vineland, NJ, Sydney Ryan of Bear, DE, Sabrina Ryan of Wilmington, DE, Tre' Smith and Evan Smith of Bear, DE. Her family and friends will remember her as a loving, caring person, who always looked to give a helping hand where she could. She will be greatly missed. A memorial talk will be given at the Millville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1209 West Main Street, Millville, NJ 08332 on Saturday August 8, 2009 at 2:00PM.
