Obituary of John M. Inman

J. “Marv” Inman, Koran War Veteran, father and friend, passed away peacefully March 14, 2013. Born December 5, 1930 and raised in Surf City, NJ, he is pre-deceased by William “Bill” Inman and survived by his brother Howard Inman of Bayville. John leaves a son Keith and Ann of New Gretna, daughter Patti and Mike of Manahawkin, daughter Darlene and Frank of Beach Haven West, son Terry Taylor of New Gretna and Dawn Carrol, who was one of his favorites. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends. John is best known for his love of duck hunting and his passion for history. He was the Hunting Guide for Sandy Island Hunting Club for years and may be better known as “Mudflap Marv” and to some as “Marvelous Marv” Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the graveside for a service on Thursday at 1PM at the Greenwood Cemetery in Cedar Run, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to the New Jersey Maritime Museum, 528 Dock Road, Beach Haven, NJ 08008. Funeral arrangements under the direction of the LeRoy P.
