Obituary of Stanley E. Ogg

On March 26, 2013, Stanley “Sonny” Ogg age 84 of Berlin, NJ passed away after a hard fought battle against lung and kidney disease. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Glenn) for 57 years and devoted father of Mary Ann Gearin (Paul), Sue Wozniak (Joe), Joan Hanratty (Joe), Linda Jones (Mike), John Ogg (Sandy) and Lisa O’Mara (Jim). Adored and devoted “Pop Pop” to 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Sonny served honorably in the US Navy and later worked for Camden Beer, Schmidt’s Beer and Holly Distributors delivering beer. He retired in 1990 but worked part time for years and retired again from Flanagan’s Auto Body in 2008. Sonny’s main passion in life was his family. He loved his role as father, but nothing lit him up more than being called “Pop Pop.” Look up “family man” in the dictionary and you will see a picture of Sonny. Sonny was a beautiful man inside and out, good hearted and handsome. Life for him was made better by the people, not the possessions, in his life. Sonny knew better than most that “you make a living by what you get; you make a life by what you give.” Sonny gave and gave and made the world a much better place for his family and his many friends who will miss him more than words can say. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his wonderful life on Friday, March 29, 2013. A viewing will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco. A family eulogy will begin at 2:00pm. In honor of Sonny’s love for the children and grand doggies in his life, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. John of God Community Services, 1145 Delsea Dr., Westville Grove, NJ 08093 or to the Animal Orphanage, P.O.
