Uncle Paul, it would take quite a while to write about all of my memories of you.
As a young adult, I remember being invited to several family dinners during the cold winter months. The house was warm and inviting. When I stop and think, I can still see the Christmas decorations, hear the light conversation and feel the warmth.
I remember noticing that you didn't have to do that, but you did anyway, and you never seemed to expect anything in return. I never told you I noticed, but I did.

I have so many memories i don't know where to begin. Your culinary talents were amazing. whenever we had dinner together, you always outdid yourself. the thursday before your death, I picked you up from the hospital and drove you home. You were your old self. We laughed the entire way home. You were cracking jokes just like old times. I think of you every day. Dave and I will certainly miss you. We love you and Mike

My little brother - I miss you and will always be your 'big sister'. We always had fun no matter where we were or what we did just because we were together. You outdid yourself when you planned Michael's and my 'surprise' Birthday Party in 1994. I'll miss your surprise QVC gifts - especially the earrings you have added to my collection. My favorite will always be the 'root beer barrel" amber earrings. I know you are in a better place.
I'll always love you - Patty Jeanne

I am Paul's niece Amy's husband. I remember Paul making the trip to Ireland to our wedding which was my first time meeting Paul. The night after my wedding day I asked Paul to join me for a drink in the hotel bar where we were both staying. We sat and talked for quite a while. Paul told me he had a lovely time and really enjoyed the wedding. He was a very genuine person who called it as he saw it which I admire in people. The following thanks giving Amy and I were visiting Pennsylvania and Paul called with Michael to say hi. From the moment he walked in till he left we were laughing. He had a great sense of humour and could be quite witty. Before he left that day, he handed me a card and said happy thanks giving. When we opened it there was a note saying I had these euros left over from my wonderful trip to Ireland. Sadly I won't be returning so enjoy. So that's how I found Paul as a person honest, kind, funny and generous. There's not much more you can ask for in a person. May he rest in peace.
