Obituary of James John Lucca

James John Lucca, 83, of Marlton, passed away on May 12, 2013. Beloved husband of Maria “Mary” (nee Pallas); Devoted father of Emanuel Evangelou, Brenda Lucca Richmond, Ricky A. Lucca and Ronald J. Lucca; Loving grandfather of Christopher, Nicholas, Tina, Katie; step grandfather of Cheryl (Rob); Great grandfather of Ileanna “Lilly” Amelia, Adam, Nicole, Samantha, Aaron and great great grandfather of Connor and Jayden. Also survived by best friend, Cliford Oberholtzer and family friend, Michael Callahan. Pre-deceased by his mother, Amelia “Milly” Lucca Slavinski, daughter Lisa A. Lucca and son-in-law, Randy E. Richmond, Sr. Mr. Lucca loved his family, animals, the Phillies and Eagles. He coached PAL baseball and enjoyed walking and bowling. A Marine veteran, he served in Korea and played trumpet in the Marine Corp Band. A former CEO of AirMaster, Mr. Lucca was a realtor for many years and had his own successful company, JJ Lucca Enterprises. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 7 to 9 PM and Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike in Atco. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM at Christ the Redeemer Parish/Assumption Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr. in Atco. Interment to follow at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 30 S. 17th.
