George would always say "Jesus is my favorite person". He said that often and he always said he would pray to him when he felt the need. I think that was his way of having 'peace of mind'. George had a lot of demons in his head. To us, it seems they have won. But maybe in George's mind they didn't win. God has him now and the demons are gone forever. He is now with Jesus, his grandfather, his grandmothers, his friend Bob, his best friend Fred, and my daughter Adrien. Maybe all of us today can take that as 'peace of mind' for ourselves.

George,
I thank you for not treating me like just an old mother in law. I will miss the good times just having coffee, playing cards and games, going to AC and going to the boys baseball games.....you left too soon. Hope you're at peace, I will miss you.

Matthew 11:28
Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
Uncle George,
I will always remember the time I was given to spend with you. You taught me "the proper way" to build a bonfire as well as many other life lessons that I could have only learned from you! I will miss you and never forget you Uncle George!

He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever."
George, May all your dreams be realized and may you forever rest in peace. It's hard to believe you are gone, we are missing you more than you could have ever imagined. You will always be in our thoughts and prayers.
We love you!

Chop, I am so sorry you had to leave us so soon. Your laughter and funny stories at the dinner table will be missed. I pray God wraps his arms around Barb and the boys to give them the strength to go on without you. We shall all meet again one day. Love you.

I was reminded today how you always told everyone you loved them. They were not just words flowing from your mouth, you meant it from the bottom of your heart. Well...back at ya. I love ya man. May God give strength to Barb and his boys.

God made George a part of our family for a reason, God made us George's neighbor for a reason, and God certainly made a place in our hearts for a reason. God always has the perfect plan for all of us. George will be greatly missed but not forgotten.
For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.(Psalm 48:14)
But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. (psalm 49:15)
We LOVE YOU, George!

You are born into a family. You can't choose them, but you can choose your friends. We chose to be friends all of our lives, and you will always be my little brother, and I love you George. Somewhere in heaven right now, I'm sure you're just starting a serious game of Chandeliers with Fred and Bob...Save me a seat...
