The student who sat in ISS and found out what was used to inflate airbags. Life is about decisions. You would have made a great teacher.

I remember having hearts in my eyes every time I'd see Lamar in the halls of middle school. Lamar was such a loving and caring person. He had this deep goofy laugh that couldn't help but to make you laugh too. I remember seeing him running down First Street with his ARMY shirt on, and feeling so proud & safe knowing that he was willing to put his life on the line for us, for America. Lamar was always there for me, he let me know that. I still have unsaid words I will never be able to tell him, but I only hope he knows how much everyone loved him, including myself. I cry almost every night knowing he did not die peacefully, and not being able to attend his funeral due to long distance saddens me even more. I am praying for his family, everyday. Rest in peace Lamar, sweet angel..I love you.

Lamar was one of the funniest, most respectful, genuine good men we had left in this town & for some monster to do something terrible to him really upsets me. I know Lamar is watching over his beautiful family & I pray for them to heal as this horribly hard week goes on. Samantha know I love you & when people say if you need anything they mean it, whether its dinner one night or even laundry done, don't be afraid to ask. I love you & your brother + will forever miss him.
