John hired me to work for him at the Annex back in 1985, and I am now in my 29th year in the same district because of the positive experience I had with him, and because he believed in me. He was fair, kind, and had a knack for dealing with young people. I was honored to work for and with him, and learned a great deal from him. I have enjoyed seeing him over the years as he mentored student teachers in my building. I am proud to have known him and will never forget him. G-d bless his family.
