I am so saddened and stunned to hear of Rita's passing. So many of my childhood memories that I look back on fondly are with Rita. I don't think that we ever spent more then a week apart when we were growing-up. I will always remember all of the fun we had swimming, going to Great Adventure, Wildwood, playing with Cocoa or just hanging out in the basement torturing Uncle Jimmy. I've always been sorry that our friendship ended over a stupid little fight and I will always be sorry and upset that we never got back in touch with each other. Rita always had a special place in my heart, and now that place is broken. Please know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers at this time.

Dear Rita ,Tom and Gianna My prayers and thoughts are with you at this most difficult time . I am so glad that I got to share a friendship with Rita. We had so Many good times together and it was extra special as both our families Became such good friends too . Rita was very kind and thoughtful . Aunt Rita, Uncle Tom and Gianna.... please accept my condolences. Rita was a kind soul. A great daughter, mother and cousin. Words can not describe how deeply she will be missed. One of my fondest memories is when we were little girls and sleeping over your house when she had her canopy bed ! I wish I could be there to hold your hand, hug you and just be there for you all. Our hearts are broken. We love you !! Hugs, Denise and family.
