Obituary of Richard Eliker

Richard Eliker Passed away peacefully in his Glendora home on Friday, October 21, 2005. He was 83 years of age. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Marjorie; five children, Steven, Marilyn McCarty, Debra, Patricia Nikirk and Robert; seven grandchildren, Darren, Sara, Michelle McCarty, Jami Shendock, Samantha, Chelsea and Robert; and two great-grandchildren, Abigail and Bryan. Born in Hartford City, Indiana, he was a resident of West Chester, Pennsylvania before settling with his family in Glendora forty-one years ago. Mr. Eliker served as a sergeant with the United States Army for five years in the Middle East during World War II. Prior to retirement, he worked for 20 years as a postal inspector for the United States Postal Service. His professionalism and dedication to the job earned him the respect of those he served. He will be loved and remembered always. The family requests flowers not be sent.
