Ann Ryerson posted a condolence
To Wimpy's family: My sincere condolences on the passing of your Father. I had the pleasure of meeting him for the first time about 6 years ago. He was the kind of person you felt you had known for a lifetime after only five minutes. I made a point of visiting whenever I went back East. We shared many laughs and "war stories" about the old horse community in NJ and PA. He will be sorely missed. HAPPY TRAILS, WIMPY! Ann Ryerson, Los Lunas, NM

The one thing I loved about Wimp was that you could talk to him about anything. A few months ago we were having a conversation. He said that he didn't believe in the afterlife. I think Wimpy was wrong, but even if he doesn't live on in the afterlife, he will always live on in our hearts and our memories of this wonderful man. We love you Wimp.

I knew Whimp thru his sons, Beau and Guy, we all spent alot of time together in the early 1960's. We had a real gang, and Whimp along With his First wife Sis did their best to keep us neighborhood bad boys out of trouble. Seemed like there was always a Rodeo or Horse show to attend.Or stalls to clean...also don't forget the bailing of hay.... We accompanied him on Trail Rides and when he first gave his regular job up to shoe horses we all went along for the ride. But alas I grew up and left the people that made me the man I am today behind, as I travel down life's road to make my own mistakes I often remember the man that always had time to listen and teach if we cared to pay attention.
As I raise my own children I draw on the memories and try to be a pal to them and their friends as Whimp was to me.
