Obituary of Thomas E. “Tom� Hodge Jr.

Thomas (Tom) E. Jr. Hodge Of Magnolia, NJ age 77yrs. ascended into heaven on March 20, 2005. Tom was born on July 4, 1927 to Naomi and Thomas (Tom) E. Hodge, Sr. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mildred, two sons, Tom and Joan of Clementon and Tim and Maria of West Deptford, a daughter-in-law, Terri of Stratford and 4 grandchildren, Tim, Jr., Ken, Dan and Rachel. Tom worked for RCA for 32 years and retired 15 years ago. He was coach of the Pony and Babe Ruth League baseball teams in Magnolia for several years in the 1960s and 1970s. Tom volunteered on the Magnolia Lancers Drum & Bugle Corps. and at the Echelon Mall Ministry and he also loved stock car racing. Tom has many friends throughout his great life, he was always with a smile on his face, always tried to help people and never had a bad word to say about anyone. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, March 23rd. 10:00am to 11:00am at the Magnolia United Methodist Church, Evesham Ave., Magnolia. A memorial service will begin at 11:00am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mr. Hodge may be made to the Magnolia United Methodist Church, Evesham Ave., Magnolia, NJ 08049.
