Andrew J., "Jimmy" Wicker, Sr.
Age 68 yrs. of Mullica Township, N.J., peacefully went home earlyTuesday morning, February 7, 2006. Jimmy was a South Jersey musician who played many local establishments for 40 years. He often headlined up and down the White Horse and Black Horse Pikes and was known from New Jersey to Texas as"Jimmy Wicker and the Travelers". He served in theUnited States Air Force from 1955 to 1959. He was employedby the New Jersey Department of Forestry for eleven years.
Loving fatherof; Debra Crehan, Andrew J. Wicker Jr., Joan Morgan and Christopher J. Wicker. Devoted Grandfather of; Andrea O'Donnell, Alyssa Morgan and Kolbi Morgan. Great Grandfather of; Ryan and Aidan O'Donnell. Jimmy also leaves a devoted friend and fellow musician, Pasquale "Pat" Anselmo.
No services will be held. The family wishes for the fond memories we all have of him to remain untouched, so in our hearts he will always be happy, young, strong and singing to us the songs we all loved to hear him sing.
