Obituary of Melvin A. “Mel� Wondolowski

Mel Wondolowski, Ph.D. Age 62, passed peacefully in sleep on September 30, 2004 at his Voorhees home. Mel is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Valerie (nee Trotter), his sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Spero Frangoules and brother Jim Wondolowski all of Washington Twp, NJ. Mel, affectionately known as Doc was an esteemed and sought after health care professional who provided psychological counseling services to 1,000s of employees of Major US Corporations. During his life, and especially since his retirement, Mel gained a reputation as an expert, albeit amateur historian of opera and classical music. He had the respect of many friends and music professionals across the country and around the world who shared his musical passion. His counsel, advise, friendship and humor will be missed by family, friends and associates from all walks of life. A private Memorial service is being planned and will be announced at a later date. Respecting Mels wishes, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donation be made to the American Heart Association, Research Division, 600 White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ 08106.
