I am very sorry for your loss. Sonny was a wonderfully caring and generous soul and although I didn't get to spend much time with him in recent years, I will still miss him, and knowing he was there. I first met Sonny when he played craps,years ago, and knew immediately that he wasn't your typical gambler--always a gentleman, win or lose. We developed a casual friendship, along with his buddy Frank (late), cousin Michael, and Humby, as I lived in Atco at the time. When I moved to Florida to open an ice cream parlor, Sonny bought my new sign, and visited when in Tarpon Springs. His quiet generosity was astounding, and he never wanted thanks.
