Dad, just wanted you to know that your services are now complete & I hope I chose the lituragy that you wanted. I also want you to know that the words that I chose for the obituary, eulogy & passing of the flag to Sandy came from the depths of my heart & soul. I know you entered heaven at the time you took your last breath, but we have talked about how I believe there is no other place in the spiritual word. Please know that I will continue the legacy that you & Mom set for me & will encourage the grandchildren to strive to do the same. Not so much in their education, but to strive to be charitable, loving & thoughtful people as you have instilled in me. Please say hi to Mom & Elaine for me & know that I fulfilled your wishes that Elaine's cremains were buried. She finally got the funeral mass that you always wanted her to have. Also know that I love all of you with all your my heart & soul & I continue to feel your presence until we meet again...

My Dearest PopPops,
It was an honor to have you be a special part of my rising religious moments. I shall miss your warmth and your wit. May you find all the answers that you were looking for and then some. You'll always be remembered in my heart. I guess that we'll meet, we'll meet in the end.

Mr. Vargo,
I am going to miss you. There are many things that come to mind, but there are a few that I would like to mention. I will miss seeing you sitting outside on your front porch, on the white chair. In the summer when Lisa and I would sit in the backyard you always came outside to join us, and would have something to chat about. Hearing your laugh as we watched Brandy running for her ball, and then laughing more as we saw her take a quick dip to cool off in her swimming pool during those hot summer nights. Watching you walking quickly with your cane as you went to the store with Lisa or when you were coming back into the house after going shopping. Watching you eating at the table and always making sure that you gave "the girls" Brandy and Beauty some food as they patiently waited for their treat! I will miss seeing you sitting on your blue rocking chair, in your room, watching TV and listening to the daily mass. Hearing your voice calling for Lisa saying, "Lis, Lis, we've got to get these bills done" and/or asking for some certain type of sugar free pie, cake or ice cream.
Hearing you having chats with "the girls" before it was time for them to go to bed, and most importantly hearing you say to Lisa, "I Love You too, Goodnight".
Since last April 2007, I know it has been very difficult for you with all of the surgery's you had to endure, and you made it through each and every one of them. I am glad you are finally out of pain and in a peaceful place.
Love,
Judy

You were "Dad" to me officially for just a few years but I always thought of you as Dad. What memories that have remained with me over the years are of a soft spoken, loving man. Hardworking and compassionate come to mind also. Your love and kindness to me was never forgotten. Rest in Peace Dad and say hi to Mom for me.

Dad,
We all know you always gave your hearts best to everyone.
Since I came into your life
your assistance was valued.
The father/son talks were informative then and even more now.During meditations
and daily chores I hear your
voice when searching for answers.
You taught me so many things:
Love,humility,understanding,
forgiveness,charity and mercy.
Most of all you taught me
Piety and Fear of GOD.
Dad,Daily I ask for GOD'S
DIVINE ASSISTANCE in all I
do.
I have come to realize that
THE BLESSED HOLY TRINITY was
your guidance thru life.
Thank you for enlightening
my heart,soul,and mind to the
fruits and gifts of
THE HOLY SPIRIT
Your time and patience did
produce good fruit for me to pass on to others.
We are never apart for we
are part of each other.
MAY GOD'S ASSISTANCE BE ALWAYS WITH YOU,
Frankie

Dear Pop,
We want you to know that we were happy when you threw us tennis balls, gave us your table scraps when mom wasn't watching & for remembering us when you were in rehab. We miss you, but we know we'll see you in heaven.
All our Love,
Sassy, Beauty & Brandy
P.S. Could you convince mommy to give us a 'few' table scraps? She thinks we're too spoiled...
