Obituary of Frank T. Vargo

Frank T. Vargo On May 28, 2008 of Atco, NJ age 82yrs. Beloved husband of the late Elinore C. Vargo. Loving father of Frank T. Vargo, Jr. of Las Cruces, NM, the late Elaine C. Long (nee Vargo), and Elisa M. Vargo of Atco, NJ. Dear brother of Sister Sylvestra (Order of St. Basil the Great) of Uniontown, PA. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and many nephews, nieces and friends. Frank is a veteran of the US Army, serving during World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He is a recipient of a Purple Heart as well as Silver and Bronze Stars. Frank is a retired Deacon of the Roman Catholic Church, and he served most of his time at Assumption Parish in Atco, NJ. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Holy Family Council 7800. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, June 6, 2008 from 7:00pm to 8:00pm at the Assumption RC Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 8:00pm. Prayers of Final Commendation will be held at the Church on Saturday morning at 10:00am. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin, NJ.
