Obituary of Kathleen T. Sciscio

Kathleen (Kathy) T. Sciscio (nee Taylor) of Egg Harbor City, NJ passed away peacefully at her home on April 6, 2014 at the age of 67yrs. She is pre deceased by her parents, John & Anne Taylor. Kathy is survived by her beloved husband, Allan J. Sciscio, her children, Leigh Anne (Frank) Moriarty of Blackwood, NJ, Wayne (Baniela) Sciscio of Budd Lake, NJ and Brooke (Travis) Finlayson of Windermere, FL and her grandchildren, Jack Sciscio and Eden Finlayson. Kathy is also survived by her siblings, Maureen (Ken) Cooper, John (Kathy) Taylor, Dennis (Mary) Taylor and Dan (Christine) Taylor along with 4 nieces and nephews. Kathy attended Holy Cross High School in Delran, NJ. She was a Legal Secretary at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius Law Firm until 1970. From then, she was a homemaker, raising her three children while enjoying sewing and crafts. For many years, she was active in the Mainstage Center for the Arts as a costumer for their stage productions. She also took an active interest in the game Mah Jongg, playing regularly with her friends. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 10:30pm to 12:00pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike in Atco, where a service of remembrance will be held at 12:00pm. Interment was private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Sisters of St. Joseph Welcome Center, 728 E. Allegheny Ave., Phila, PA 19134 or to the Mainstage Center For the Arts, 27 S. Black Horse Pike, Blackwood, NJ 08012.
