Dearest Joan and Family,
I just learned today of Stan's passing.
You and Stan have been lifetime friends to me. We have travelled many journeys together. We have celebrated together and we have mourned together. Today, I mourn with you at the passing of dear Stan. I celebrate with you his wonderful and compassionate spirit. From the moment I first met you at an Eagles game back in 1973 to all the gatherings at your home with my late husband, Ken - you and Stan have always been so kind, so generous. Stan shining that famous smile, always making everyone laugh, always making certain everyone was having a terrific time with food and cheer and company, always accepting of everyone, always welcoming those who came into your magnificent home, who came into your lives. Always there to lend a helping hand to all. I am honored to have been called your friend all these years. Stan's essence will always live within me. I wish you peace.
