To the Schafer Family:
Please accept my sincerest condolences on the loss of your mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother. I was deeply saddened by the news of her passing. Unfortunately, I did not receive the news until the services were completed. I am very sorry that I was not present to offer my condolences in person and to say my final goodbye to Mary.
She was a very special lady with tremendous courage and faith. Mary and I went through our cancer treatments at the the same time, and when I would see her at Mass, she always gave me so much hope and support. For that, I will be eternally grateful.
Mary and Michael will remain in my prayers and thoughts, today, tomorrow, and always.
May God bless and comfort you all.
Sincerely,
Dianne Petralia and Family

To the Family of Mary Schafer.....
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we have learned about the passing of our beloved quilter….Mary Schafer.
Mary was a very special lady that loved to come and help us make the quilts. Mary was in her late 70’s and would still stand at the tables and put the ties in the quilts. She was a very wise woman who spoke softly and shared so many stories with us about her life…..Mary you will always be in our hearts and minds……and missed dearly. Rest in peace our dear Mary.
Our deepest sympathy on the passing of your Beloved Mother and our "Special Quilter Mary."

Offering my deepest condolences. May the Schafer family and friends find comfort in the Bible’s assurance that “the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” (John 5:28, 29) May your memories of Mary continue to provide you a measure of comfort during this time. For further comfort about what the Bible promises regarding the hope for those we lost in death, kindly visit "www.jw.org".

Ray and I would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to Mary's family. I first met Mary through Kathy & Fran. In recent years, Mary and I participated in Assumption's quilting ministry together. We often worked side by side and talked all day. I always enjoyed my conversations with Mary. She often spoke about her family, always with love and great pride. It was clear that family was so important to her. I admired her strength and her strong faith; she will be missed. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Rest in peace, Mary.
With sincere sympathy,
Louise & Ray Miller
