To the entire Macauley family, I am so sorry for your loss and may you find peace knowing that he is no longer suffering.
I had the honor of working for Uncle Jim for many years and during those years I saw how others would come to him for guidance, advice or needed some form of help. Uncle Jim didn't turn anyone away. Thus earning the nickname, Godfather.
Robert and I will miss our weekly round table discussions we had with him and Aunt R, solving the problems of the world...
Rest in Peace Uncle.

Dear Macauley Family,
When I learned of Mr. Macauley's death this morning, my heart broke. I was immediately transported to my childhood where I cannot remember a single visit to Dawn's house without him being full of life, patience, adventure, and humor! Just last week I was telling a story to my PREP class about a cow that he had and that Dawn and I feed. Alas, the cow was not a pet! He will be remembered as a great man, with a loving family, who raised wonderful children, and brought joy to all that knew him.
All my love,
Dana

uncle jim❤️ what can I say. you will be missed so much. always in my heart I'll hold allllll of those Sunday's with you, my Pop, and Christopher. And even though as I grew up, you never stopped letting me know you were there! I wish you and Pop had more time here to meet and spend with my kids! but at least I know you will both be up there together looking down on all of your family. I wish the last time I saw you wasn't at my pops funeral but know you were always in my thoughts. love u always!

To the entire Macauley family having grown up with all of you in such a close knit town I have always felt that we all shared parents at one time or another. Mr
Macauley was truly one of my favorite dad's... he always had some silly thing to say that made me smile. Hugs and kisses to all of you. It is a true loss as he was an incredible man.

I am so sadden by the lost of someone I can truly call a good friend. I will always remember the many lunch dates we and others had together. I will also remember the many many good things you did for not only the Chesilhurst Police Department while I was there, but the Chesilhurst community as a whole. You were a kind and good hearted person who did care and will be greatly missed. Thank you Jim.
Rest in peace my friend, rest in peace.
