Obituary of Phillip G Parker

Phillip G. Parker was born on September 26, 1960 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Elizabeth Parker and the late Dr. Winfred E. Parker. He departed this life on Thursday, June 25, 2015. Phillip graduated from Norwood Academy; then went on to graduate from Lasalle College and Prep. He completed his undergraduate studies at Hampton University. Blessed with a keen intelligence, he decided to go to Rutgers Law School. He found his niche in the legal field and settled his practice with bankruptcy law. Phil was admitted to practice in various courts which included the Supreme Court of the United States. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Phil moved to Voorhees, New Jersey after graduating from Hampton University. Phillip was an avid reader, loved music and played the keyboard and saxophones. Phillip possessed a wicked sense of humor and loved to spar with you in a debate. Phillip met and married his lovely wife Yvette on September 15, 1995 in Clementon, New Jersey. To this union was born a wonderful son George Phillip. Phillip leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, George Phillip Parker and stepson Jason Salter; three brothers, David Maturah, the late Winfred E. Parker, Jr. and Hebert Peck (brother from another mother); two nephews, Pierre and Phillip Parker; father and mother-in-law John and Barbara Relak; two sister-in-laws, Cheryl Maturah and Shirley Parker; one brother-in-law Charles Gabriel and a host of relatives and close friends. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 1 PM to 2 PM at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike in Atco, where a memorial service will be held at 2 PM. Interment will be private. The family requests no flowers.
