I sit here and look at Rob's photo and realize how much time has gone by since we last had a conversation. I attended the Academy of Culinary Arts with Rob and remember being in class with Rob - he was talented and smart and funny and sincere and just an amazing guy. I feel so very sad that at 63 years young he is no longer with his family and everyone who loved and appreciated him. He was a very special person and I wish I could have had one last conversation or lunch with him - I will treasure his memory and the short time we had together while attending Culinary classes.
My deepest sympathy to those family and friends who loved him and feel the loss of this very special person.

Dear Mary & Bob and the entire Koob Family:
I was sadden to learn of Robbie's passing when I read it in the Inquirer. I haven't been in touch with Steve for a while and didn't realize Robbie was so ill. My condolences go to the whole Koob family.
I especially liked Robbie and loved when he would come to your family's gatherings and vacations. We had some common interest and would have great conversation about them. I loved being in his company and would always ask Steve "will Robbie be there?" He was a good man and a genuine person. I will miss him very much and he'll always have a place in my heart.
