Obituary of Robert J. Koob, Jr.

Robert J. Koob, Jr. Koob, Jr., Robert J. 63 of Elm, NJ departed this life peacefully on May 24, 2016 to return to the Lord after a courageous and graceful battle with a malignant brain tumor. Rob, a friend of Bill W, will be missed by his parents, Robert and Mary Koob of Linwood, NJ, his siblings Diane (Tom), Stephen, Valerie (Fritz), Michael (Kathy), and Timothy (Nick) along with his nieces: Courtney, Adrienne, Katryn and nephews: Ryan, Eric, Jake, Daniel, and Ethan; as well as his friends Jim Walsh and Adam Klein and an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Rob was a graduate of Archbishop Wood High School, Warminster, PA, LaSalle University, Philadelphia, PA, and the Academy of Culinary Arts from Atlantic Cape College. He spent much of his career in the wholesale beverage industry. Since his retirement, Rob kept busy as a volunteer at the Folsom Literature Group, Sol Amore Hospice, Hammonton Canoe Club, and Batsto Citizens Committee as well as being a member of his Church choir. Visitation will be held at St James Lutheran Church, 1341 Mays Landing Rd. Folsom, NJ on Tuesday, May 31st at 9:30AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM.
