Donna and family, I am so sorry for your sadness at this time.I don't want to say loss because, Joe's spirit, love, memories, courage, and dedication to his family will live forever in your hearts.I told Joe he won the million dollar lottery when he met you. You proved my feelings the way you took care of him. Always at his side with your love ,compassion, and dedication. Both of you were an inspiration to many. I think Jesus sent you here to show others what love and compassion mean. You brought such a beautiful family together in a time of such heartache.Luke and Jason you have a wonderful model to live up to. I know that all of you were Joe's treasures
With heartfelt sympathy
Lois

Donna,
Steve and I were so saddened to hear of Joe's passing. He was such a great guy and someone we both feel very fortunate to have known. The love you two shared and the beautiful family you created was something beautiful to see. I hope it helps sustain you through this difficult time. Joe was an inspiration to all of us in how to live your life fully in the face of great adversity. You are an inspiration as well! The love, care and dedication you showed him was such a bessing. I know it has been a hard journey these last years, but you both handled it with such grace.
We are sending you big hugs and lots of prayers for peace in your heart.

Although I didn't know Joe personally; I kept up with his journey through his sister, Laurie. I feel so honored to have "known" such a determined and inspiring man. My deepest sympathy to his beautiful family.
