My husband, Lou, worked with your husband at Penn Star, and I would truly like to express my condolences. You were truly a pillar of strength on Friday, and I salute you. I can't even begin to imagine, and my heart aches for you. I don't want to make this about me, but I can relate to your situation because my father passed away when I was 2 - just like your son. Your sons have the advantage of social media - something that I did not. Your children will grow to know that your husband was a great man and loved by many. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you should need anything at all.

Sometimes ones thoughts about life can be severely impacted by another mans journey. Mikes journey had an impact on so many that knew him as well as those who didn't.

Our deepest sympathy and condolences to Mike's wife, children and family. We were blessed with the care and help of a pilot who medically transported our critically ill daughter last year. The care of the medical flight team were deeply appreciated - our daughter's pilot showed a huge heart and compassion. Pilots like Mike are deeply appreciated by family's like ours. We lost our precious daughter in December- but will always be grateful for the help and care of the people who worked to help her find the care she needed. I was very sad to hear the news of Michael's passing. I am another helicopter pilot, and although I didn't know Michael, I can just imagine the pain and grief you are experiencing. May this tragedy cause you to seek comfort from God and His Word! He promises that if we truly draw near to Him, He will draw near to us (James 4:6-10). Praying for you!
