As one of the original Lincoln Ave residents, I was saddened to hear about the loss of George. I was only a child when we lived there, but I still remember everyone from that block, and all the block parties we had. Being the same age as my father, this loss hit me hard. Treasure the time you have with each other, because you never know.
Wishing the family the best through this hard time.
RIP George

George, Every time you came to the office you always had a smile, joke or story. Even when you weren't feeling well. You brightened the nurses and office staffs day. We will miss your smiling face. My husband is Sgt at arms at American legion Post 371 and I am Ladies Aux. We will make sure your name is on the memorial board on Memorial day. RIP George you will be missed.

Our thoughts, and prayers, are with Nancy and the rest of the family during this very sad time. George (known to us as George Haven and always will be)was way too young to say good bye. We have so many wonderful childhood memories of happy times we spent together.
With our deepest sympathy.
Love,
Your California cousins......Bob (AKA Bobby), Kathy and Rick

"Some people come into our lives, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never the same."
Thinking of George and his family, and sharing in their sorrow. Gone too soon, but squeezed in so much, always living life to the fullest. We look forward to sharing a cold one, again one day, with you, our friend..
Love,
Ellen and Doug

Condolences to the immediate and extended family of George Durar. George was very well liked in the Camden Fire Dept. his other family. We not only work together and experience danger, we sleep, eat, and share a lot of personal life experiences with one another. When you leave your career, with no one having a negative comment about you, it means you are a remarkable individual and brother. It's truly a testament to George. May he RIP Ron Angemi

My condolences to Nancy, and the kids. George will be missed all so much. Over all the years of pool, working on sprinklers, and even installing a fire hydrant next to the pool, me and him built a bond that I will never forget. He was always straight up, and honest about everything. He taught me so much about the game of pool, and was my biggest fan, on the pool table. I will keep him in my heart forever, and your family is in my thoughts.
