I love Uncle Woody and will miss him. He was one of a trio of uncles to a young boy who sorely needed them. One of the proudest moments of my life was coming home from Marine boot camp to share a beer with the Slimm boys.
I'm sorry I won't be there - he and Walt and Payne and Charlie and their families mean a great deal to me.
I'll bend that nail yet, Uncle Woody. I'll miss you.
